About Laura

Hi, my name is Laura. I spent 15 years as an activities coordinator or an activities assistant planning and implementing activity programs for senior citizens at various assisted living facilities and adult daycare programs (for memory impaired seniors). I have dealt with every type of senior citizen and loved every minute of it. I also had the privilege of taking care of a husband and wife in a Shadyside condo. The husband had Parkinson's and dementia, and the wife was frail. I became part of their family. I assisted them with all activities and daily living plus more. I reported everything to their son and daughter who could go to work worry free because I had everything under control with their parents. I took care of my own parents for 10 years. My father had cancer and vascular disease, and my mother had Alzheimer's. I am very capable, hardworking and caring. I would like to become a part of your family and take outstanding care of your aging relative. I am willing and able to do anything. So please consider me for care giving, companionship, plus more.
