About Laura
I am currently a second grade teacher in Harford County. As an elementary school teacher, I have experience teaching math and reading, and science, writing, and language. Throughout internships in college, I have taught grades 1 to 5. I have also enjoyed teaching ages 6 months to 6 years old during previous summers, where I incorporated hands-on lessons and activities for young learners. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy playing field hockey, cooking, and doing anything outdoors (biking, running, skiing, hiking).
