Hello Family, I provided care for elderly as a night time Caregiver. I was trained by the daytime Caregiver, who was a CNA. We worked as a team to provide seamless care for an elderly woman diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer. I stayed overnight for two years to provide evening, nighttime care until the woman died. The last 2 weeks of care was coordinated with Hospice to provide peaceful end of life transition in the home. The woman died peacefully in her own home with loving care around her. I also provided overnight care for someone with Parkinson Disease. These experiences allowed me to bring my gifts of calm, healing, joy, and laughter to not only the client but also to their families.
