About Lauren

Hi there! My name is Lauren and I am currently looking for a part time nanny job. I grew up in Seattle, WA and started babysitting when I was 12 years old and continued on to nanny for a family for 5 years before moving down to Portland, OR. I am comfortable with caring for kids of all ages, as I have experience working with all of them. Lately, I have had the joy of watching my niece and nephew, who are 12 and 2 years old. My mom is a parent educator/toddler group teacher so growing up I was surrounded by lots of young kids, contributing to my knowledge and experiences with kids. When it comes to responsibilities, I am comfortable with preparing meals, keeping up with light housework, running errands, keeping the kids up to date with homework/chores and taking/picking up the kids from school/appointments. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids are arts and crafts as well as outdoor games like tag or hide and seek.
