Hi! My name is Lauren and I am a San Diego native. I went to college at UCSB and then worked in the corporate world of real estate for about 10 years, while also being a part-time nanny. I was referred to a family who needed a full-time nanny, so I thought I'd take the position on a temporary basis and then return to real estate. Well, I'm going on six years now of working for that family and have never looked back. They have 4 girls and the youngest just started pre-school and now I only work from 12:15 to 4:30 p.m. So my mornings to midday are completely free and I'm hoping to find a position to fill that gap. I'm also available on week nights, weekends, etc. I love working with children because it's amazing to have the privilege of being there first hand to witness their first major milestones. I also love the optimistic way they look at life, as they start to develop their own personalities and preferences.
