Hi! My name is Lulu and I am a recent Northwestern U grad ('24). Child care and education have informed my being since I was a child. I always dreamed of becoming an educator and working with children, and when I was 13, I became a caregiver while my parents worked full-time jobs for my siblings 10+ years younger than myself. I currently work at MetaMedia at the McGaw YMCA as an Afterschool Program educator and MetaMedia Summer Experience educator, where I led a group of middle-school aged children in fun craft and writing activities, as well as guided in homework help and tutoring.
