About Lawrence

Philosophically I see myself as a Humanist. I believe that mankind is basically good and with a little support from others can achieve great things. I have successfully taught a wide range of students at all ages and grade levels. Success for me is not only the academic component, but also knowing that my students have left the classroom with a true love of learning. Aside from endless patience, I see my greatest strength, and most notable attribute for a potential employer, as diversity. I have extensive experience in a wide variety of online teaching platforms. I have developed courses, designed lesson plans, supervised interns, and taught hundreds of face to face classes. I am proud of receiving the Altoona College of Penn State University Outstanding Lecturer Award. In addition to my ability to interact and relate well to students I can translate textbook information into real life experiences that students take away from the classroom and apply to internships and work settings.
