I have my degree in elementary education and special education and have 10+ years of experience Nannying/Babysitting and 8 years of experience as a swim instructor and life guard. I live in SF and am looking for a position nearby. My approach with kids is very in line with gentle parenting. I enjoy being able to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for kids to be themselves in and learn new skills. I do this by encouraging individuals to explore their interests through play as well as exposing them to new and engaging activities where they can have fun and practice functional communication skills! I enjoy creating an emotionally safe environment and helping with social/independence/life skills through the use of positive reinforcement and lessons on socio-emotional skills. Liliana was a joy to have around. My son has autism and is very developmentally delayed, but also very intelligent. That makes him quite a handful. Liliana was able to bond with him immediately. She didn't just watch him; she gave him plenty of enrichment, encouragement and joy. I never worried about his care or growth when Liliana was with him. She was punctual, professional and asked questions if she didn't understand something. Anyone would be blessed to be able to hire Liliana.
