About Linda

I love children! I have many years of child care experience. Last 2 yrs did parent elder care; 1 year prior cared for 2yr old, before that did 3 yrs after school care, date nights, overnights, before that did15 months of care for 1infant and 1toddler. Also, raised my two wonderful children, mostly as a single parent; girl scout leader, softball coach. I have also babysat many times for my grand kids and have done school volunteer work. My care includes preparing healthy meals and snacks; all kinds of playing fun, reading stories, going on walks, homework help, board games, transportation to activities, going to playgrounds, building blanket forts, changing diapers, etc. I keep the house picked up and tidy. I am dependable, honest, very safety minded. I'm consistent, engaged, gentle and respectful with a calm disposition. I believe in a structured but flexible environment with lots of kindness and encouragement. I attended LSU full time for three years, majoring in Early Childhood Ed.
