Hi! I would enjoy caring for your loved one. I know from caring for my mom for six years how important it is to have someone I could trust to watch over and be present with my mom. I can be that person for you. I took care of my mom for six years until her passing when she was 92 years old. It was important to have her feel valued, that she still had purpose in life and could contribute, and to involve her in all family events. My mom had dementia and was confused, yet knew her family and the joys of being together. I also have the experience of working as a hospice chaplain for 10 years. I am experienced in providing a ministry of presence and assisting in the pursuit of meaning. I enjoyed meeting people where they were at and conveying love and acceptance. I would welcome an opportunity to care for your loved one and assist their day-to-day experience in finding meaning and purpose in their life, as well as, bringing them comfort through companionship.
