About Linda

I'd describe my personality as open, curious and calm. I like caring for seniors because I love to connect with people, hear their stories, learn from them and help them maintain their independence and autonomy. I'm looking for a job that allows me to support a family or individual for a few days a week, hopefully with some smiles, laughter and adventure for all of us! I started caring for seniors when I was in elementary school and my parents would bring me to the senior home ministry services through my church. Since adulthood I haven't worked in caring for seniors specifically, but I do have experience working with folks of all ages and backgrounds as a social worker. In my spare time, I like to read, do crafts, play with my pets and go birding! One thing you should know about me is that I'm pretty unflappable and can stay calm and steadfast in the midst of chaos or surprises! My skills include helping with emotional regulation, listening, and housework tasks.
