About Lindsey

I am 24 years old, very energetic, athletic, caring, and loving of children. I graduated with a marketing degree from the University of Maine in 2012 learning many lessons of responsibility and gaining lots of life knowledge that I am able to share with the children. I am also very flexible and able to adapt to the changing phases of a growing child's personality and moods. My mother has run an in home daycare my entire life so I have grown up with kids constantly surrounding me. When I was old enough to do so, I took on the position of my mothers assistant, caring for multiple children of various ages at a time. After I graduated from college I realized that my real passion was caring for children myself. I ended up with a position as a nanny for two families at one home. I cared for three children, 45 hours a week for two years. The children were 2, 2, and 4 by the end of my time with the families. I have wonderful relationships with the previous families and would be very open to future employers speaking to them. The reason I ended is because I have decided to move to Philadelphia and am looking for a professional nanny position with a wonderful family in the area! I am moving to the Graduate Hospital area of Philadelphia on Dec. 2nd. In the meantime I am working as a substitute teacher at Leaps and Bounds learning center where I am gaining more experience with large groups of children of all ages.
