About Lisa

Hi! I am a retired Special Education Teacher, certified in Birth to 21 years of age. I taught in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and small group instruction in the home and classroom. I taught special ed for most of my career with a concentration in early intervention and preschool and up to the lower elementary age level. I also have experience teaching preschool, as I was a classroom preschool teacher in a typical classroom for three years. I am extremely familiar with the preschool curriculum and will prepare your child for kindergarten by teaching all of the prerequisite skills needed to be successful in kindergarten. I absolutely love children and have an abundance of patience, experience, compassion and creativity. Watching a child learn something new, whether it is big or small, is a wonderful thing to be part of. I hope to speak with you soon!
