About Lisa

As a retired teacher, mother of three adult children and grandmother I'm passionate about supporting families and making a positive impact on the lives of children. My calm and friendly nature creates a safe and welcoming environment for kids to learn, play, and grow. I believe in clear and open communication with parents and provide regular updates about their child's day and any issues that arise. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a consistent and structured environment for the children in my care. I love finding fun and interactive ways to promote learning and development. I have three dogs of my own and enjoy caring for fur babies as well. I'm well-equipped to provide reliable and flexible care for up to two children between the ages of 0 and 3. I hold some graduate-level education, do not smoke, and have my own transportation. I prefer children not to be on screens when in my care.
