About Lorena

Lorena has been our nanny for the past year, caring for our daughter from 1 to 2 years old, and she is nothing short of amazing! Lorena is extremely proactive and has enriched our daughter’s life by doing lots of activities with her (story times - she knows the schedules of all the libraries nearby!; Music Together; the Palo Alto Jr. Museum & Zoo; play dates). On days when there were no special activities, Lorena and our daughter were at the park (or, if rainy, at the library) all day and they formed a very special group of friends with other toddlers and their nannies. In short, our daughter is very excited to see Lorena each morning because she knows it’s going to be a fun-filled day. Lorena is also a force of nature with so much energy; she never gets tired of running around a toddler and always has a very good attitude. Lorena has very strong work ethics: she is always punctual (a few minutes early!), ready to help with anything we ask of her (and goes above and beyond on her own), and has always been receptive to our feedback if we want something done a certain way. As two working parents with demanding jobs, Lorena has been a vital part of our household: we know our daughter is cared for and everything is under control. We will miss her and hope she finds a wonderful family.
