Hello! My name is Lucretia or Lu, I have a master's in Psychology and some of my prior caregiving experience includes a full and part-time Nanny, Behavioral Therapist with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Adolescence Specialist for a combined 8 years. I'm Liberian-born but have lived in Ghana and Ivory Coast where I spoke French fluently. I've been in the US for over two decades and worked in corporate America for the last few years. However, after being severely burnt out I'm looking to return to my roots of caregiving. During my leisure, I enjoy reading, biking, dancing, running, singing, crafting, knitting, cooking, and hiking, anything that allows me to create and be outdoors. I have been very fortunate to work with caring and genuine families in the past, I would hope to find the same qualities in the next family I work for. Lucretia has been a dependable, nurturing, communicative, flexible, calming, patient, loving, consistent, positive, and engaged caregiver. I could keep going! She has made my daughter feel safe and loved, and my husband and I feel heard and comfortable. Lucretia has exposed our daughter to new experiences involving art, music and physical activities, and has taught her so much, including self-confidence. We will forever be grateful for Lucretia and all of the support she has provided our family. She has become an extension of our family. I would recommend Lucretia for any position. She is amazing!
