About Lucy

I'm a 27-yr old finance professional. I work from home, so I took the opportunity to move from Boston to California this year - I'm loving it here so far! I've been babysitting since middle school, and have experience with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. A notable experience is when I worked as a live-in nanny for 3 children, ages 4, 7, and 9 during the summer after my first year of college. This taught me how to appreciate and cater to the unique needs and personalities of each age group as well as entertain these kids for hours on end! I've started baby-sitting again recently as I've been missing the interaction and connection with young minds. As cheesy as it sounds, I've learned so much from the kids I've gotten close with, and I find that so fun, in addition to the activities, games, and time I spend with the kids! I'm also pretty silly in nature, so it's easy for me to connect with kids.
