About Lydia

I have 4 years of experience working full-time with children. Three of those were as an assistant teacher in a 1 yr old classroom, and the last year was as a lead teacher in a 2-3 yr old classroom. I am looking to get away from the daycare atmosphere, and cultivate a rich home learning environment with more one-on-one time with children. I have learned much in my time working in a daycare, and have learned to handle a variety of challenges. As a result of my time working in daycare settings, I am CPR and First Aid trained, with current certification. I also hold an Infant/Toddler CDA, which is a certification with a background of training in child development, learning resources, and more. I love spending time outdoors- going for walks, finding bugs, building forts, etc. When kept indoors, I enjoy helping children with simple baking experiences, playdough, imaginative games, etc. I'm a strong believer in down-to-earth experiences, and cherish the little things!
