About Lyrik

I am a 20-year-old graduating senior from Howard University coming home to NYC for a working year, and I'm hoping there is a family out there willing to help me get back to what I love! I come from 5+ years of unpaid caregiving assistance, as well as 1 year of paid professional work in childcare. This year included a focus in language acquisition and music education, which I continued to pursue and tutor for once I shortly left for my first year of university. While I still tutor and care for K-12, the consistency of a nannying role as well as the continuous growth I am able to witness is unbeatable! The more I'm able to teach, the more I myself am able to learn. Whether this be after school, in the kitchen, or even just the simple manners of walking along a busy Manhattan street, I simply can't wait to offer that guidance to a family offering me a way back into my passion.
