About Maame

Hi! My name is Maame, and I am a first year medical student. I have had experience tutoring for 5 years and worked at a charter school where I worked with students through grades 3rd to 12th. As a medical student, I have a strong background in Math & Science topics, but while I was employed at the school I was also able to help in English & Social Studies subjects where I helped all my students succeed. I went to undergrad at UT Austin, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and was awarded a Liberal Arts Honors Distinguished Scholar title (based on strengths in the English & Humanities studies). I was also a Teaching Assistant for 2 years where I helped students with their pre- medical preparation and helped grade various essays students submitted. With all my background in education and helping students, I really hope to help your child conquer their academic weaknesses, and I look forward to working with you!
