About Madeleine

Hi, my name is Madeleine. I am the mother of a 10-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. I grew up in Germany and that's also where I studied childhood development and education to become a teacher. I used to work with kids from 0-12 years old in preschool, Kindergarten and grade school settings. I did lots of camps and offered art and sports classes. I moved to the US more than 12 years ago and have worked as a teacher, tutor and care provider ever since. I raised my 2 kids, plus my bonus kid a beagle puppy, in the last couple years. Now with both kids in school, I am looking forward to helping out other families. I am pretty active and love the outdoors! Going on long walks with the dog or riding our bikes as a family are probably two of my favorite things to do on the weekends. I love to garden and to involve the kids in it. I am adventurous and love to try out new arts and crafts projects with children.
