About Madison

I am a former English teacher. I started babysitting when I was 13. I was also a camp counselor, a respite Caregiver for two years, and I also taught middle school for three years. This past year I was a teachers aid for kids from infancy up until 10 years old. I enjoy the great outdoors and exploring my community. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they are incredibly intelligent, funny and creative. I'm looking for a job that is consistent, fun, flexible, and adventurous. I started working with kids when I was 13. In my spare time, I like to read, run, hike, and travel with my husband. I want to make sure that a child's safety is number one priority. Second to that is of course having fun. I am very open to exploring. I am also very passionate about education. My skills include being active with kids, empathizing with their needs and interests, and creating games and activities that stimulate their brains.
