About Madison

Hi! I'm currently looking for families to babysit and/or private tutor for in Santa Cruz. I have experience as a profession tutor and elementary after school teacher at Lazear Charter Academy. I've worked with kids for over 8 years now. I worked for the Alameda parks and recreation department for four summers, leading games for kids ages 6-11. I graduated from UC Berkeley, I have an Undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Film & Media Studies. I have a deep love for learning and would be thrilled to help with homework if needed. My strongest subject in teaching is Math. I am also CPR and First Aid certified and feel confident during medical emergencies. I have experience with overnight babysitting and feel comfortable driving children at the parents request. I also feel comfortable with animals, having grown up with pets from a young age. I have experience house sitting for dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. I look after children ages 3 years old and up.
