About Madison

My name is Maddie, I am currently enrolled in school at Illinois State University and I am a Special Education Major! I have over 5 years of experience working with children. I have been involved in a peer to peer programs in school. I have worked with special needs students in and outside of school throughout my time in high school and college. I am involved in Track and Field at school and I am used to being involved in sports. I have a passion for working with all kids and teaching. Over the past 5 years, I have worked at the University of Michigan at a summer sports camp called KidSport. I worked with children from the ages of 3 to 14 years of age. For the younger children at this camp, we did lots of arts and crafts/ playground time and worked on developing team-building skills. I also have experience with coaching Middle school and High school pole vaulting. I am a certified USATF coach and have been coaching for 4 years in the winter and summer breaks in Dexter, Michigan.
