I understand the unique difficulty of teaching to a large class of varying learning levels. That's why I like tutoring because the 1-on-1 time gives me an opportunity to really curate the learning to student needs and interests. I've been an educator for six years but all my life I've had a love of learning and sharing my learning with others. I teach children, teenagers, young adults, and anyone that's willing to learn. I excel at curriculum building - I've built curriculum for various core subjects and enrichment courses like creative writing and pottery. I know how to set realistic goals for student learning and backwards plan to create a cohesive daily learning schedule. I also am proficient in teaching study skills especially for students with ADHD and special needs.
