About Mahalla

My name is Mahalla H. I have been watching kids through scouts since I was a teenager. I worked with kids this age as a den chief, designing lessons in scout skills to help the kids advance in the program, but also to encourage them to believe in themselves. This summer I took scouts into the backcountry for my summer job. This included attending to a variety of children's needs, including neurodivergent kids, in a high-stress environment. I am certified in CPR and wilderness first aid. I am currently in college studying English Education, so I can't wait to help inspire your child's love of reading and adventure. When I am at college, I work with a local elementary school teaching third-grade students about the local environment and would love to share some of this hands on learning with your kids. I love to play games with kids outside or take them on a nature walk in their own backyard. For a quiet night in, we could watch a movie or play some of my favorite quiet games.
