About Mairead

From working as a camp counselor during my teen years to now working as a Preschool and Special Ed Paraprofessional, children have always remained a passion of mine. I've also nannied for multiple families since the age of 15, forming close and lasting relationship the children individually, as well as the families as a whole. I believe my biggest strengths are problem solving, maintaining a relaxing and enriching environment, and working WITH the children rather than against them. I've always led with compassion and empathy, as I believe treating everyone, especially children, with those two traits gets you farthest. I love being in the teaching setting, but I find nannying to be the most rewarding/fulfilling for me. Because of that, I'm currently looking for a full-time nanny job in the Boston area for this summer, and possibly for longer as I figure out my plans for the next school year!
