About Makayla

Hello! My name is Makayla, I have a degree in studio art and I am currently looking for my career in the arts. In the meantime I wanted to work in my other passion, childcare! During my time in college, I babysat for a family in my neighborhood. The children have since grown up and no longer need someone to watch them. This family had three VERY active girls. They were 5, 7, and 7 when I started watching them. As a caregiver I think of it as my job to keeps your little ones safe, happy, and TIRED. I am not afraid to play outside, go to a park, or break out the sprinkler on a hot day! I may not be Gordon Ramsey, but I can prepare meals and snacks that will satisfy hungry bellies if needed. Of course, it isn't fun and games all of the time. I am able to keep kids on a schedule when it comes to school or other scheduled obligations and help with basic homework questions.
