About Makayla

Hi! My name is Makayla and I go to UVA. I'm a 4th year looking for extra income or full time job to help with rent. I worked at the UVA Children's hospital for a year. I used to work as an after school tutor with kids ranging from ages 5-8. I have a 9-year-old brother who I basically raised as my own since he was 3. I was a full time nanny for a family for 9 months, the baby was 3 months old and the other child was 3 years old. I've babysat for several different families ranging in ages 5-9. The kids called me the fun babysitter because I'd always find unique things to do. For example during the Christmas month, I did Christmas themed arts and crafts, Christmas cookies/baked goodies, and reindeer food. I love spending time outside with kids playing sports or games like tag. I absolutely adore kids and I love being around kids. I am CPR certified. With me working at the children's hospital, I have my basic life support certification as well as being a certified medical assistant.
