About Mara

Children have always been a part of my life & I love forming long-lasting relationships with the families that I work for. I grew up in Seattle & I was a part-time nanny for five years all throughout college & have experience with all ages including infants, toddlers, & children with disabilities. I'm also a birth & postpartum doula. I'm knowledgeable and passionate about child development, & encouraging children to learn through play. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at once & don't mind doing additional household tasks like pet care, organizing, laundry, or running errands. I'm looking for a part-time nanny position but I'm also available for occasional babysitting, date night or backup care. It's important to me that the families I work for be thoughtful & progressive.
