About Margaret

I have worked in child care since I was a teenager from babysitting and nannying to camp counseling and outdoor trip leading. I have experience with infants and newborns as well as school age children. I spent the last 3 years working in both school and hospital settings providing care for children with special needs. For the past year I have been teaching fourth grade in a self-contained special education classroom. I have been leading group therapies, helping build communication and social skills, and making life changing connections with these incredible kiddos. Along with teaching academic skills, my job also involved general assistance with feeding, hygiene, movement, and daily activities. I am very comfortable with and have experience working with children on the autism spectrum but also love working with neuro-typical kids too! I am a singer and a psychology graduate currently pursuing a counseling masters at McDaniel College. I love music, art, games, puzzles, and the outdoors.
