About Mariah

I like working with kids because I myself have a young daughter and she's brought my inner child out. I enjoy playing, being creative and having fun with children. Even working with older kids as a substitute teacher I can easily connect with, and can create a space of mutual respect. I started working with kids about 2 years ago but I have been around children of all ages all my life. I'm the oldest of 12 cousins and the oldest of 4 siblings. I am comfortable with kids of all ages. In my spare time, I like to be with my little one. She's my world and whatever she wants to do is what I want to do too. One thing you should know about me is I'm a kind, understanding person and I like to be as helpful as I can. I love to get a clear view of what's needed to be done always so communication is key with me. My skills include being a rule follower, I'm a quick thinker, and safety is my number one priority when doing anything involving children.
