About Mariai

I have over 20 years of caring for elderly, children and individuals with special needs in a home-care setting and residential group home. Through the years I have developed many skills that would help me foster healthy relationships with the individuals in my care. In my experience, I have encountered many difficult situations and emergencies that I have learned to handle with both patience and effective response. I also enjoy this field because I get the unique opportunity of providing quality care in support of those unable to do so independently. I believe that the combination of my own professional work experience and personal outlook on the field make me a strong candidate for a care-giver position. In addition to these skills I am also trained in ADL (Assisted Daily Living, Certified in Medication administration, health and safety, nutrition, community recreation, CPR/First AID, and possess a NYS Driver's License.
