About Maria

Maria is a FANTASTIC nanny and a true gem of a person. She is kind, creative, energetic, genuine, patient, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, attentive and so much more. But most importantly, working with children and helping them grow and develop is her life's passion - and it shows. Maria has been with us for over 2.5 years now - she started when our daughter was 4.5 months old (and now she is almost 3 years old!). Maria helped us smoothly transition from milestone to milestone: introducing solids, standing, walking, potty training (daytime and nap time), riding a scooter, teaching her dance and trace her name and doing art projects together. Maria also created an amazing circle of friends for my daughter (and parent friends for us), took her to classes and many local parks. Maria is fluent in English and Spanish, and my daughter now speaks both languages pretty well. My daughter adores Maria and always runs to her with a big hug when Maria walks through the door in the morning. Maria is very punctual and reliable- she is always on time and was very accommodating with our changing schedule needs. Maria is very attentive to detail - she would always let me know ahead of time when my daughter was running out of diapers, or if her shoes were getting small and always sent pictures and videos throughout the day. My husband and I don't have any family nearby to help us, and Maria truly became our support system, our village. And I couldn't have asked for a better one. If my daughter weren't starting school, I would keep Maria forever. Your family will be so lucky if you get to work with Maria and your child will be in amazing, caring and experienced hands!
