About Marilyn

I'm a retired elementary teacher with 20 years of experience educating young minds. My love for fostering children's development and creating positive change in their lives inspired me to become a caregiver. I am patient, calm, and friendly, and I always strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe and supported. I keep parents updated on their child's day through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and have experience playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable caring for two children aged 4-11. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, and carpooling. I have received First Aid Training, CPR Training, and my education includes Early Childhood Education (ECE), Early Child Development Coursework, and a Graduate Degree.
