About Marisa

Learning the Spanish language has been one of my greatest passions throughout my education. I began studying Spanish in first grade, and have continued to study the language up until this point. I am now working towards a Spanish minor. As I have studied Spanish intensively and have had extensive experience using the language, I would love to help others who have an interest in learning or need to fulfill a requirement for a class. I have gone through all levels of language-learning, and so I feel confident in my ability to relate to students of all age groups. I have a very widespread access to resources for language learning and would be able to meet the needs of my students, no matter their skill level. As far as my experience goes, I went on an immersion trip to Ecuador, participated in an exchange program in Barcelona, worked in an after-school program with immigrants from Latin America and studied abroad in Madrid for one semester.
