About Marise

My name is Marise, I am Brazilian and have lived in the United States for 5 years. I speak Portuguese fluently, basic English and Spanish. I am Christian, I am 60 years old, I am married, mother of two daughters and grandmother of seven grandchildren, we all live here in Maryland. I have a degree in Tourism and Hospitality and on weekends I work as an event organizer. In these 5 years lived here in the United States, I took care of children and in the last 3 years I was the caretaker of a 23-year-old girl with extreme autism. And I would like the opportunity to be a caregiver for an elderly person because my experience with elderly people was due to my father's Parkinson's disease for 20 years. We Brazilians are a welcoming and very affectionate people and I believe that the affection, care and above all the joy in living in those who care for an elderly person can bring a much better quality of life to this very special phase of life, which is the third Age.
