About Marissa

Hello! I'm looking to help families with date night or weekend childcare! I am starting my 5th year as a kindergarten teacher and truly love kids! My whole life has been centered around being around children and babies! As a youth, I was the neighbor babysitter! During my undergraduate degree, I worked at a daycare in the infant room for 3 years! In the infant room, children's ages ranged from 3 months to 18 months. That's where I really found how much I loved taking care of babies and how much joy it brings me to be teaching and caring for them! After becoming close to some of the families there, I would babysit their child outside of the daycare. Then during my masters program, I nannied for a family for 2 years. The child was 5 months old when I started helping take care of him. I have my own car, love animals & I am happy doing light housekeeping. While I watch your child, they will be safe, happy and probably learning something (my teacher side!) :)
