About Marissa

I am a stay-at-home mama to two wonderful boys, ages 3 and 9-months. I am also a state-licensed home daycare. I got my license while raising my older son, so that he could have a small group of kiddos to learn and grow up with. I am now looking for 1-2 infants my younger son's age to do the same. I have been in childcare for 14 years. I have been a child care counselor in an after-school program, a preschool-age swim instructor, a lifeguard, loved auntie, and a nature-based nanny (spending the majority of time outdoors year-round). I love being around children! I am a responsible, yet young-at-heart, caregiver. I am college-educated, highly skilled in many realms, and VERY creative. I strive to make children feel secure and loved, encourage creativity and independence, inspire a love of nature and music, garden together and eat yummy, organic snacks. Cannot accept families with smokers due to allergy. CPR/first aid certified. Clean driving record. Approved to accept state subsidies.
