In addition to my nanny experiences, I hold my bachelors degree in elementary education with a reading endorsement. After teaching in the public school system for a couple years, I decided to take a pause from teaching. Most recently, I nannied for a loving family (10 MO & 6 YO). Marissa is one of the hardest working, passionate and committed young teachers that I know. She was a hands-on contributor from the first day she took on her assignment at Central Road School. Marissa's work ethic, loyalty and commitment to her cooperating teacher and all the students in their class set her apart from your typical student teacher. She exceeded and went above and beyond any expectations that we had for the interns in our program. She is an overwhelmingly positive person with boundless energy. Marissa has the ability to take on a multitude of tasks and come through with flying colors in every aspect as she sees everything through to successful fruition. Her students benefited greatly from the individual attention she gave each one of them and the atmosphere she created within her classroom empowered all students to take risks and develop a "can do" attitude.
