About Marissa

Since I was a kid, I have always LOVED animals. I grew up with two cats, and when I was 16 I received my first paycheck and used it to buy a ferret. If you know anything about ferrets, you know how much attention and constant care they need. It was hard work but definitely one of my favorite decisions I could have made. Besides caring for my own pets I have been involved with different organizations that involve caring for and learning about animals. In 2016 I went to the Center in Minnesota and served as a wolf pup nanny. My responsibilities included tracking their food consumption and secretions, as well as paying close attention to body language and behavior to ensure healthy growth as they mature. I also volunteered at the Zoo since I was about 14 years old. I've been around animals my whole life, I am responsible, reliable, patient, and love having fun. I guarantee you will not regret giving me the opportunity to care for your favorite furry friends!
