About Marissa

Hi! I am 26 and from Long Island, I bounce back and forth between there and westchester often if you are seeing this and are in the westchester area. I work full time as a Teachers Aide at a school for kids aged 3-21 with both cognitive and physical disabilities during the school year! My summer hours vary and are flexible because I won't be working at the school full time. Occasionally I can be available on weekends if given enough notice. I have been working with and caring for children of all ages starting in 2012 through babysitting and as a summer camp counselor. I was also a Student Clinician at my schools Speech & Hearing Clinic where I spent time working with younger kids! I have always loved working with children, so I hope to someday work with children in my career as a Speech Pathologist! I was just accepted into a Graduate Program at Mercy University to start this fall, so I look forward to taking these next steps towards starting my career!
