Hello everyone, my name is Maritza and im a rising Junior studying Political Science and Spanish at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign! I am currently home for summer break and am available for short term care until august 11th. Being an older sister, I have always loved watching over my siblings and engaging in fun activities like arts and crafts, baking, and reading. This summer I was a camp supervisor and loved every second of the job, and getting to know every one of the campers! I was also a camp counselor in the summer of 2019 for 3 months. I chaperoned field trips, engaged in activities, and helped students with their needs! I also have experience babysitting for the neighborhood and family. I am willing to help out around the house and run errands, anything to make comfort and satisfaction a priority! I am excited to get to know you all!!

Maritza was amazing! She was our first hire on Care.com and we hope to hire her again as much as we can moving forward! Maritza watched our 2.5 year old for several full days when our daycare was closed. Maritza was sweet, punctual, respectful, creative and the coolest person ever in the eyes of our daughter. They went to the playground, made cookies, and even went to the store to get nail polish! Our daughter got her first ever mani-pedi (with my permission which I thought was beyond considerate), and now is obsessed. So fun! We highly recommend Maritza!
