About Marlene

With over a year of childcare experience since high school, I've nurtured young minds, like Ian's, while his mom worked late. This ignited my passion for fostering a safe environment. Beyond babysitting, I volunteered at the local elementary school, teaching kindness and storytelling. My journey led me to pursue becoming an elementary art teacher. At MCC, I studied pedagogy and child development, while also working at La Petite Academy, deepening my love for early childhood development. I witnessed firsthand the impact of education on young minds, reinforcing my dedication to empowering children.
