About Marya

I'd describe my personality as energetic, thoughtful, and resourceful. I like working with kids because they are uplifting, adventurous, and inquisitive which affords me the opportunity to learn new things, be creative, and have joy in my work. I'm looking for a job that allows me to contribute in a meaningful way, become part of a team, and appreciates me for my efforts. I am an older sister to 3 siblings, babysat as a teenager, was a camp counselor in college, advised teens in a prevention program, worked with daycares to improve their programs, and raised two children of my own. In my spare time, I like to exercise, read, craft, bake, and spend time with my children and dog. One thing you should know about me is I am a loyal person. My skills include: - -A lot of infant care knowledge, since I was a La Leche League leader for several years. -A belief in child-led learning and the inclusion of practical activities and Art in early childhood development. -Conflict resolution.
