About Mary

I have instructed hundreds of students both children and adults that have need some private individual instruction to either reenforce what they already know or to bring them up to speed in whatever subject area they feel they need assistance in becoming more proficient. I am looking to work with children grades K-8, or adults that need to strengthen their knowledge or skills. Several times I even worked with preschool children to prepare them for school or just to keep them growing and not become bored because they are so smart or are lacking in some areas; such as beginning sight words, shapes, colors, numbers, and patterns. I have worked in many school setting and in private homes. Public places are always an option as well. I hold my Pennsylvania and Maine fingerprinting, child abuse clearances. I have a BA in Psychology, and have taken many courses in methods of teaching and special ed. I would be happy to help you or your child become more confident in their learning. Organization and study skills are always a part of my insurrection. Without those two components we get all mixed up! Just a little humor... but so true.
