About Mary Ellen

I have been a Nanny for 20+ years for children of all ages. I was employed for 2 families over the past 25 years and stayed with each until the children were old enough to care for themselves independently. I am very comfortable with multiple children and infants. I also love dogs and cats, all animals really! I'm an outdoor person. I enjoy going on walks and playing outside games. Even in the rain and snow! There's something special about walking in the rain and splashing in puddles! I also really love to read. (And making a fun project out of it!) I really like to read classic literature, in segments, over a week or so. My former charges and I have read The Secret Garden, Charlotte's Web, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, many Roald Dahl books, the Harry Potter series, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Series of Unfortunate Events, and many, many others! I've loved my charges very much and I've stayed in touch with all of them over the years.
