I have known Mrs. H. since 1998 when I worked as a Social Worker. Mrs. H. was a School Guidance Counselor within the same school. I worked closely with her in our roles as counselors. We have been friends since that time. We then worked again together in 2012-2013 within the Public School system, she as student support advocate within the classroom setting and I as a School Adjustment Counselor. Mrs. H. has always been a caring and dedicated advocate for the students she has served. In having the benefit of being both her colleague (first) and friend (second), I have had the opportunity over the years to see how consistently strong her character is all areas of her life. In her career, she has been professional, consistent, caring, and dynamic in her approach with students. She is also highly creative and often utilized art in an effort to connect with students. In her personal life, she is naturally talented in caring for children. She babysits all her friends children, who think she is funny, fun, and creative. She has watched my children. Her presence always makes you feel good. She is a loyal friend and will go the distance to help others in need. I highly recommend Mrs. H. in any professional endeavor she is pursuing. She has been a pleasure to both professionally and personally know.
