About Mary Joyce C

For the last 8 years I have cared for several individuals ranging from basic elderly needs such as companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, etc. to long term illness such as initial cancer diagnosis to end of life. I am competent with assisting individuals who have limited mobility and can safely transfer them from bed to chair, car, etc. I am also adept at administering and monitoring medications with the exception of IV (intravenous medications)., and can provide healthy meal planning and follow dietary recommendations. With a degree in Kinesiology I can assist with designing a non stressful exercise program. Finally, I'm an excellent conversationalist with the elderly that provides stimulating interaction. Also, I know how to make sure their environment is safe and can make suggestions to encourage a safe home.
