About Mary Kathleen

I have about 10 years of experience with both babysitting, Nannying, and teaching at a preschool/early education center. I have a BA in psychology (with coursework and a general focus in child development). My longest nannying job was for a child starting at the age of 4 and ending around the age of 10 along with her brother who was born when she was 7). I have experience with children (Infants to Young Adults) with special needs and also have experience working with children who have allergies. I love art, exploring, and have worked on learning ASL to help even the littlest members of the family communicate! I also love to cook and bake and come up with fun age appropriate sensory experiences! For example we had fun experiencing lemons that were sliced floating in water and we had another bin with special flowers in it that turned the water blue, the children were then encouraged to mix the two and watch water turn pink! This was all taste safe and they loved it!
